Yorkshire Energy Partnership (YEP) is the leading not-for-profit sustainability company in your region.
We are uniquely placed to offer money-saving, energy-efficient solutions to help you live and work more sustainably.
The work we do supports your homes, businesses and communities to choose affordable, sustainable alternatives - whilst cutting your costs at the same time.
We work with all nine Local Authorities, the National Parks and with the sub regional Investment Planning Team and our strategies are implemented through working with a broad range of regional partners.

Our projects:
We put customers in touch with accredited local installers, applying grant funding or discounts for installing energy saving measures and renewable technology.
We manage the Investors in the Environment (iiE) - one of our newest and most popular projects.The accredited scheme assists businesses to reduce their environmental impact.
We managed the Green Neighbourhood Challenge. This was a joint project between Yorkshire Energy Partnership, Stockholm Environment Institute and the local authorities of Hambleton, Harrogate, Richmondshire, Ryedale, Scarborough, Selby and York, funded by the Yorkshire and Humber Improvement and Efficiency Partnership (YoHR Space).
Yorkshire Energy Partnership Ltd is owned and supported by City of York Council, Craven District Council, Hambleton District Council, Harrogate Borough Council, Richmondshire District Council, Ryedale District Council, Scarborough Borough Council, Selby District Council, North Yorkshire County Council, Leeds Metropolitan University and Joseph Rowntree Housing Trust.
